ALPHARETTA, GA - October 23, 2013 - American Premium Water Corporation (PINKSHEETS: EXPU) is pleased to provide the following update to the investment community and our shareholders. In order to achieve the Corporation's vision and business plan of marketing, promoting and branding high altitude-alkaline bottled water in glass, APWC expands its portfolio of brands.
APWC has added two new brands to join its flagship product L'Alpina and the company's growing position in the ever-expanding bottled water market. Ameris Water, "flowing from the heart of America" will provide the company rapid entry into fine dining restaurants and gourmet food outlets. As "America's Spirit" grows with the country's pride being renewed, Ameris will promote an American theme and stand as the country's premium glass bottled water. Ambrosia Water, "Nectar of the gods," also in glass, will allow the company to reach the broader based high purity water market. More and more people are demanding water bottled in glass instead of plastic. The published health concerns linked to BPA found in plastic water bottles, along with the growing landfill issues, are spurring consumers to demand high quality glass bottled water. American Premium's aggressive launch into the billion dollar "premium water segment" of the bottled water market provides the company significant growth opportunity. In addition, these two new product additions are at lower price points. This will further enable us to grow sales, as well create and grow distinct brands, all uniquely geared to specific markets.
"Our goal and plan that we have now started is to align our portfolio of brands such as L'Alpina, Ameris and Ambrosia with reigning figures across media, sports and entertainment, as well special events to speak to consumers in a way that is going to help target and channel our water to a wider market and tap into the emerging niche market we have identified and that APWC believes will be the future standard due to the taste and the health benefits associated with this product," said Alf Culbreth.
