ALBUQUERQUE, NM-- October 30, 2013 - Net Medical Xpress Solutions, Inc. (OTCQB: NMXS), a leader in the telemedicine market, announced today the release of its new WebRTC (Real Time Communications) Telemedicine conferencing tool that facilitates doctor-patient and hospital ER/ICU communications. The receiver version is now available in the Apple App Store.
Initially, two products are available: RTC Switch IOS and RTC Switch Enterprise using the company's Linux operating system. This allows organization to set up users, groups and subgroups for crystal clear, real time, face-to-face web-based connections. The Enterprise version is available for hospital ER/ICU use and with Net Medical's telemedicine cart. The RTC Switch will be used for beta testing through the end of December. Designed to meet HIPPA requirements, RTC Switch Enterprise version will include precise audit controls, RSA asymmetrical, public/private key encryption and the company's Safety Pilot permission software.
Dick Govatski, CEO, Net Medical, said, "We're bringing telemedicine to the iPhone, iPad, PC and Mac. Doctors will have instant face-to-face communications with their patients or others for more precise diagnosis and patient care. Ultimately calls will be interfaced with Net Medical's XR-EXpress technology for home telemedicine services. It's the modern version of the house call that will work well for patients and enable doctors to provide better care to more patients, an important issue in modern medicine."
"Our rollout is just beginning. We'll have a good deal more to say about this in the coming months," Govatski said.
The RTC Switch IOS App can be found in the online Apple Store. The Enterprise version will be available directly through Net Medical. Passwords will be made available to accredited medical professional users.
