Labor SMART, Inc. (OTCQB: LTNC) (the "Company"), an emerging provider of on-demand blue collar staffing primarily in the southeastern United States, today announced it achieved $2,647,061 in revenue for the month of May 2014 (a five week month) an increase of approximately 68 percent over 2013 May revenue of $1,578,503 (also a five week month). For the first five months of 2014, Labor SMART has recorded more than $9 million in revenue, compared to approximately $5.1 million at this point in 2013.
"As we expected, we are seeing the ramp up in revenue and business during the warmer weather and what are historically our strongest quarters," said Ryan Schadel, president and CEO of Labor SMART. "While we are very pleased with this revenue increase, we think it is only the beginning of what we expect to be a significant growth in sales in the next several months." Schadel affirmed once again that the company is generating revenue at a rate that enables management to remain comfortable with its projection of $30 million in revenue for 2014.
