Mr. Barash's role will center on identifying and expanding new technology within the company's offerings.
Mr. Barash co-founded CyberDefender Corporation, an Internet security software company where he served as both Chief Product Officer and Chief Information Officer. In these capacities, Mr. Barash has directed the development and successful market introduction of many of CyberDefender's leading Internet security products and services including MyCleanPC.com and USTechSupport.com, which serve over 100 million users worldwide. Additionally, he provided strategic leadership critical to the development of the Company's technology infrastructure. His efforts assisted the company in growing from a startup to over $64 million in revenue and nearly 700 employees and contractors.
Most recently, Mr. Barash co-founded TrepScore, an information-sharing platform that allows entrepreneurs to effectively and efficiently manage their data and share their progress with investors in real-time. The new platform will revolutionize how Startups and Investors work together by creating transparency and insight to performance over time.
Formerly, Mr. Barash was an early employee in 1997 of Hostpro, which went on to become one of the largest ISPs in the world, and was later sold to MicronPC. In this executive role he was responsible for developing value added features on the enterprise level service models and participating as Micron's representative to Microsoft.
