The program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best workplaces in Orange County, which benefit the county's economy, workforce, and businesses. Companies from across Orange County entered the rigorous two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work for 2014. The first part consisted of evaluating each company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics and was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience, worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Adaptive Media was recognized via a special section of the Orange County Business Journal's July 28th issue. The awards program was created in 2009 and is a project of the Orange County Business Journal and Best Companies Group.
