Amphion Named Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity Employer of the Year

Amphion Medical Solutions, a leading provider of advanced transcription and coding solutions and services, announced today it received its second "Employer of the Year" Award from the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI). The award is presented to a Corporate or Individual Professional member who employs healthcare documentation specialists for outstanding commitment to the professional development of its workforce.

AHDI announced winners during a live Awards presentation at the 36th Annual Healthcare Documentation Integrity Conference in Las Vegas, on July 24.

"Winning this award for a second time is an honor and demonstrates our commitment to employee professional development, providing a safe, productive work environment, and supporting AHDI's many laudable efforts in the industry," said Jane Bates, Amphion's Vice President of Human Resources. "Our goal has always been to create a supportive family of employees, one that offers camaraderie, education and the opportunity to become the best version of ourselves."

Amphion provides employees with career-related education funds to use toward AHDI membership, continuing education and/or recertification fees. It also gifts employees with the reference tool Benchmark KB, which includes an Associate membership in AHDI.

Encouraging credentialing and holding annual credentialing study groups, Amphion remains committed to quality concerns and provides a quality assurance manual that provides corporate quality standards and quality review methodology. In addition, the company communicates daily with its virtual work family and produces a weekly newsletter, "Monday Morning Matters," to keep all employees informed of upcoming events, open positions, new employees, birthdays and work anniversaries. Amphion has even created its own editing proficiency and quality guidelines incorporating the AHDI Book of Style with unique client preferences.

"We may be a company of mostly remote employees, but the camaraderie we have here is tangible," said Jodie Carrico, CHDS, an Amphion Account Manager. "It is not just the immediate team you work with. It translates across all teams and makes Amphion the best place to grow and succeed in the healthcare documentation industry."
